BANNOCK Garlic Toast
4 tablespoons of softened (not melted) butter or margarine
3 cloves of minced garlic or ½ teaspoon of store bought minced garlic
¼ teaspoon of dry oregano
3 pieces of The Bannock Factory’s “Bannock in a Box” Bannock buns
*optional parmesan cheese – to taste

Follow instructions on the “Bannock in a Box” box regarding heating of Bannock
Once Bannock is heated as per instructions & removed from oven, put your broiler on low
In a small bowl mix together softened butter or margarine along with minced garlic and oregano
Cut Bannock buns in half, length wise (careful they may be hot)
Spread cut side of Bannock with Garlic spread
Place garlic spread covered Bannock face up on a baking sheet
sprinkle with optional parmesan cheese
Place the baking sheet in your pre-heated oven under the broiler for a few minutes and toast until golden brown. Because of the difference in ovens, time will vary per oven so watch carefully
Once done take out of the oven and enjoy with a nice salad or your favourite pasta dish!
